March '25 product update

March '25 product update

March is all about big plays and smart moves on the court and in your workflow. At Doppler, we’re making teamwork easier with improved Change Requests, expanding our integrations, and keeping things running smoothly with key fixes. No brackets, just better secrets management.

Change Requests

Keeping secrets and configs in check has been tough with over-permissioned devs and inefficient approvals. Now, both Team and Enterprise plans can use Change Requests to propose updates securely, assign and enforce reviews, and track every change across environments.

Already using Change Requests? This month we’re introducing a new Enterprise-only feature, Change Request Policies. This includes:

  • Customizable targets: Define which changes require policy enforcement, such as all configs in a specific environment or across an entire workplace.
  • Flexible approval rules: Set conditions for merging, like requiring multiple reviewers from a designated group or specific individuals.
  • Self-review control: Decide whether users can approve their own change requests, aligning with company security policies.
  • Clear visibility: Users see policy details applied to their changes directly in the preview/details page, with hover tooltips for easy reference.

What else have we been up to?

  • Added support for creating GCP Secret Manager integrations and syncs via Integration Create API endpoint and Sync Create API endpoint.
  • You can now create groups from existing users and add brand-new users to your workplace at the same time, directly from the group page.
  • Added clarity to Render integration error message when limits need to be increased.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Vercel syncs to fail when a pre-existing variable on the Vercel side that was also in Doppler was assigned to the Development, Preview, and Production environments in Vercel.
  • Doppler CLI v3.73.1 has been released. Update now to stay up to date.
